Van Gaal says Man Utd players will be informed of their future after Liverpool clash

The Dutchman has been using pre-season to evaluate his squad and decide which players he wants to keep or sell.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Manchester United’s final match of their American tour van Gaal said:  “I shall make judgements after the tour. I have let all the players play so I know now more than I did before.
“But in football, you have to judge. Always, you have to give a chance to a player to make a transfer when you see that his perspective is not so high to play.
“You have to say it in advance. When you say it on August 31st, it’s too late. I shall say to the players what I think after the tour.”
After the match Van Gaal and United will head back to England and then the manager will inform the players of his decision.
The players most under threat would appear to be Javier Hernandez, Shinji Kagawa and Wilfried Zaha whilst Marouane Fellaini and Anderson will be worried as well given they haven’t even worked with Van Gaal yet.
Van Gaal has said that he will give some fringe players some minutes against Liverpool and there will be a number of players desperate to make an impression on the manager.
Manchester United open their Premier League campaign at home to Swansea on Saturday 16th August.
