The European champions have secured the 27-year old gloveman on a six-year deal from La Liga rivals Levante for a fee of around €10million.
Navas starred at the 2014 World Cup as Los Ticos made it through to the quarter-finals, conceding just two goals in five matches, and has subsequently been snapped up by Carlo Ancelotti’s los Blancos.
An official Real Madrid statement read: "Real Madrid CF and Levante UDhave reached an agreement over the transfer of Keylor Navas, who will be tied to the club for the next six seasons.
"The player will be presented on Tuesday, August 5, at 1pm (local time) in the Bernabeu's royal box, after undergoing the relevant medical examinations.
"Subsequently, Navas will tread the turf of the Bernabeu for the first time and will address the media in the press room."
Former Saprissa keeper Navas initially joined Levante from Albacete onloan in 2011 before signing a permanent deal with les Granotes the following year. In total, Navas made 70 appearances for the Valencia-based outfit.
