The Brazil fullback is in talks over a new deal with Roma and there has been talk of a return home this summer.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport says Maicon is happy with the way negotiations are progressing and is ready to pen terms.
Maicon will be part of Roma's tour squad to Austria and is keen to continue with the Giallorossi for the new season.
The veteran arrived last year from Manchester City.
