Former England star Trevor Francis has slammed the market work ofLiverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers has spent towards £90m this summer, including a wealth of midfield talent but just TWO strikers.
Francis said: "Somewhere along the line the balance is not right.
"He needed a £35m striker. Don't ask me who, that's why he's in the job, he's got scouts all over the world.
"Whatever he's got to do, he's got to be positive before the transfer window closes in August.
"There's too long a period between August and January to be without a recognised striker."
