Fernando is backing Manchester City's move for Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala.
The midfielder arrived from Porto last month.
And assuming the Mangala deal does go through City have another excellent player on their hands.
Fernando told the Manchester Evening News: “I know him very well, he is quick, he is strong and if we sign him he will be a great addition to the team.”
