Barcelona have loaned young winger Gerard Deulofeu to Spanish league rivals Sevilla for one season, both clubs said Friday.

Deulofeu, 20, spent last season on loan at Premier League club Everton. It seemed he would be part of the Barca squad this season but he has reportedly failed to impress coach Luis Enrique in pre-season friendlies.
According to media reports, Barca are also trying to offload midfielders Alex Song and Ibrahim Affelay, and are poised to sign young defender Douglas from Brazilian club Sao Paulo.
